Smithtown (Kings Co.) Sept. 17 - Our usually peacful little village had a gloom cast over it by the sudden and unexpected death of Albert N. SMITH who entered into his rest Wednesday eve. 12th inst. He was the eldest s/o Mr. and Mrs. Newton SMITH and was in the 26th year of his age, having been born at Smithtown 3rd March 1869. When quite young he moved with his parents to their present home at French Village, but at the age of 22 years he returned to Smithtown where he has since been engaged in farming. He married June 7th, 1893 to Fanny SMITH, youngest d/o Edward SMITH, Titusville. Though for some years suffering from poor health, Mr. Smith was able to attend to his duties up to a short time before his death. His funeral took place Saturday afternoon at the church of Holy Trinity. After the service at the church his remains were interred in the Burial Hill cemetery at French Village, the pall bearers being Messrs. Horatio A. SMITH, Lawson T. GIGGEY, Ernest P.
