An interesting event took took place Saturday eve. at Stubb's Hotel. At 8 o'clock the parlor was filled with a large number of persons who had assembled to witness the marriage of Almon CHAPMAN, brother of the proprietor of the hotel to Miss Alice Belle TAYLOR of Port Elgin. The marriage ceremony was performed by Rev. Lucas. Miss Josephine OTTY and J.M. McINTYRE did the honors as bridesmaid and groomsman.
