d. St. Charles, Illinois, 19th Sept., of dropsy, age 36, Andrew C. s/o Charles INGRAHAM, formerly of Queensbury (York Co.) N.B. From Mossegan Reporter, Illinois paper - The Schr. "North Carolina" left Black Lake in this county on eve. 26th May (which was the eve. preceding the recent gale) bound for Milwaukee. Aaron INGRAHAM, Esq. (sic), George WHEELER and two other passengers whose name we did not learn were on board. The principle part of the freight was railway ties. She has not since been heard of and we understand from Capt. JOHNSON of the "Kity Grant" that on Sunday last he saw a large quantity of railroad ties floating on Lake Michigan about 20 miles from Black Lake. Mr. INGRAHAM was last year supervisor of the Township of Norton, was part owner of a steam mill at Black Lake known as Ingraham Mill.
