A shocking accident happened at Kingston Wednesday of last week to the little child of Robert LENNOX. Mrs. Lennox, who was alone in the house with her three children, went down cellar to attend somew household duty, leaving her three children playing in the room above. On returning she noted that the youngest, about 15 months old, was not with the others. She was informed by them that it had gone into the next room and shut the door. On opening the door she beheld the child in flames. She succeeded in extinguishing the fire, but not before the child was fatally burned. A doctor was hastily summoned but could do nothing for the little sufferer and at 3 o'clock in the afternoon it died.
