On Thursday eve. 1st inst., James VINCENT of Greenwich (Kings Co.) returned from St. John to his home on the steamer "Fawn". He landed at Oak Point where friends wished him to remain all night, but he had decided to walk back in the country some distance to his residence and did so accordingly He had been in delicate health and the exertion may have been too much for him, for during the night he was attacked with bleeding of the lungs and died before morn.
