At an early hour Monday morn. James McCOY peacefully passed to his long rest. He had been closely identified with the educational interests of this county, having for some 35 years occupied the position of Principal of the Carleton Co. Grammar School. Mr. McCoy was a native of Ireland but came to this province when quite a young man and first settled in this county at River de Chute, from whence after remaining a few years he removed to Upper Woodstock and thence to this town where he resided till his death. He was an active member of the Episcopal church and for a long time Supt. of the Sabbath school. To his sorrowing partner, daughter and two sons, the sympathies of the community are extended.
