Charlottetown, P.E.I. 'Advertiser': Sunday eve. the schr. "La Rooka", Capt. DAVISON, left the wharf for St. John's, Nfld. laden with cattle. John MURRAY, Tailor of this city went as a passenger on a visit to his relatives of that place. The wind being ahead, the vessel anchored at Three-tides for the night. Before she left in the morning, some of the crew landed at the Block House and reported that Mr. Murray was missing from the vessel; and without further explanation returned on board and proceeded on their voyage. On Tuesday morn. last, a number of persons being out in quest of the body, John JOHNSON, Ferryman, succeeded in hooking it up. (see original)
