A quiet wedding took place this morn. 10 o'clock at the residence of Dr. J.D. WHITE, King St., Carleton (St. John). The bride was his daughter, Miss Ellen J. WHITE and the groom James E. COWAN, a rising young barrister. The ceremony was performed by Rev. C.H. Paisley, pastor of the Methodist Church.
