A correspondent writing from Caraquet (Glouc. Co.) on 7th, forwards a portion of a soiled envelope found in a bottle picked up near Miscou by some fishermen during the week previous. Upon the envelope is written in a rough, yet plain hand, the following: James TAPE, William JONES, John SUSSEX, William DOWDLE, John QUANCE, Charles BRANNAN, 6 Emigrants from Bideford North Devon England. Whether these men have been shipwrecked or drowned, or under what circumstances the above was written, no clue is given by which facts may be ascertained, not even the name of the vessel being given.
