Samuel DUNBAR has been County Constable of County of York since 1852. He is an old soldier and for many years was a sergeant in the 36th Regt. When discharged he was color sgt. of the Grenadier's company. Mr. Dunbar was married in New Brunswick Aug. 25, 1839 so that yesterday was the fiftieth anniversary of his wedding day. The event was commemorated at Mr. Dunbar's residence 375 Bloor Street west, last night. The guests included Mr. Dunbar's son, Samuel and wife; his son John DUNBAR and wife, and three daughters. - Toronto 'Globe'. - Mrs. DUNBAR is a sister of Thomas WILLIAMS of Fredericton city and was married here 50 years ago by the Roman Catholic clergyman then officiating in this parish.
