Hammond (KIngs Co.) Dec. 14 - Death has once more visited this valley and snatched from our midst Hattie SCOTT d/o Mr. and Mrs. Alexander SCOTT, sr. Three weeks ago she was taken sick. Dr. Ryan was called but her illness soon developed into a severe case of typhoid fever. She steadily grew worse until Sunday eve. when she passed away. Much sympathy is felt for the parents, sisters and brother, who just 13 months ago were called upon to mourn the loss of another member of the family, a young man. Deceased was 19 years of age.
