Yesterday, George WHITENECT left for Boston to attend the funeral of his brother, W.H. WHITENECT, well known among the profession as a theatrical agent. Mr. Whitenect had ben connected with the Howard Athenaeum, Boylston Museum and Forest Garden, Boston in capacity of business agent and had lately joined a combination now playing in New York. A few years ago he brought a Spectacular Drama to Saint John and it appeared in the Academy of Music. While in New York state he was taken ill and died at Troy. He married some five years ago, a woman of the troupe that played at the Academy. The deceased was connected with Boston Lodge, No. 10, Benevolent amd Protective Order of Elks. The funeral is to take place Friday or Saturday under the auspices of the Elks.
