John GRANT of Lower Newcastle (North. Co.) died at Hotel Dieu yesterday of dropsy and heart disease. Only a month or two ago, his brother, George GRANT, died at the homestead at Lower Newcastle. Both brother were never married. John Grant was engaged for years preserving and tinning salmon and carrying on a general fish trade. He was buried today in the Roman Catholic Cemetery at Bartibogue.
