Mr. Phillips is a brother of Henry PHILLIPS and learned the machinist profession at Small & Fisher's shops. - 'George PHILLIPS, shipbuilder, of Rat Portage, has been appointed inspector of steamships and hulls for the district of Manitoba, Northwest Territories and Keewatin. He will have his headquarters at Rat Portage.'
