The death occurred in Boston Tuesday last of Charles W. FORD, age 68 years, head of the boot and shoe manufacturing firm of Ford, McQuade & Co. Mr. Ford was a native of this city and took up his residence in Boston about 23 years ago. He visited St. John last summer in 1893 with his wife, when he spent some weeks here renewing old acquaintances and visiting points of interest. Charles J. TOMNEY, the well known insurance man, is a relative of the deceased.
