The funeral of Mrs. James VERNON took place from her residence on King Square. After a brief service at the house the remaisn were taken to St. John's Church where Rev. deSoyres conducted service. The interment was in the Rural (Fernhill) Cemetery. The pall bearers were John HOLDEN, R.W. CROOKSHANK, James GILBERT, James DOMVILLE, Chas. F. KINNEAR and G. Sidney SMITH.
