Many at Fredericton heard with surprise yesterday of the death of Mr. RYAN. Mr. Ryan had been confined to his house for some time with la grippe. He slowly sanf and died at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon. Mr. Ryan was born at Carlow, Ireland and would be 39 years old on July 12th next. His parents came out to Upper Canada when he was yet very young. Then he lived in St. Stephen and then Bath. He removed to Millville (York Co.) where he spent seventeen years and finally came to Fredericton. He conducted extensive milling operations at Millville. He leaves behind a wife and five children, two girls and three boys. His brothers are Hugh RYAN, Patrick RYAN, Lawrence RYAN and Thomas RYAN of Johnville (Carleton Co.), John RYAN, Arthurette (Victoria Co.) and his sisters, Mrs. CUMMINGS, Johnville and Mrs. MADDOX, Wicklow. The funeral will take place tomorrow morn. ten o'clock from his residence, corner of St. John and Charlotte streets.
