A serious accident occurred at Sussex (Kings Co.) this afternoon by which Thomas GALLAGHER of the Ridge Road received very serious if not fatal injuries. It appears that Gallagher, in company with another young man was going to the grounds, when a team which was being driven very fast struck Gallagher in the breast, knocking him down, the horse tramping on one foot and tearing it off and the wagon passing over his arm near the shoulder. Gallagher was taken to the Depot House and is at present unconscious.
