John DAY, age 7, was left in a boat at Reed's Point (St. John) Thursday eve., by his father, who went away for a few minutes to attend some business. The child, taking off his shoes and stockings, jumped out of the boat to play in the water and was drowned. The father, on his return, found the child near the boat quite dead.
