The remains of George L. SMITH of Hibernia Lodge, F.& A.M. were interred in the Rural Cemetery (now Fernhill Cemetery, Westmorland Road, Saint John) yesterday under the banner of the above lodge. The pall bearers were William E. EVERETT, John COCHRAN, George KNAPP, John McKILLOP, Henry COCHRAN, Jas. SAUNDERS. The service at the house was conducted by Rev. Wm MItchell and at grave by Rev. Howard Sprague. The choir at the grave was composed of D.S. STEWART, Geo. E. PERKINS, Hamilton COCHRAN, Henry COCHRAN, John McKILLOP. W.W. WALLACE presided at the organ.
