Miss Fannie CRAWFORD, living at 45 Exmouth St. (St. John) died in the latter part of March so suddenly that the physician who attended her could not tell exactly of what disease she died. Her mother, sister and Mr. MULLIN, a boarder in the house, took sick immediately after and it was discovered that they had a mild form of small pox. Mr. Mullin, on becoming convalescent, went to the residence of Mrs. SHARP, Apohaqui (Kings Co.) who was taken ill, and also were David LITTLE, who was much with Mr. Mullin when he was ill and two of Mrs. Sharps' daughters. .. It is supposed Miss Crawfod caught the disease from some clothing which came from Quebec, which she had been working upon. (see original)
