The Londonderry 'Sentinel', July 22nd gives the following particulars of the sad death of William INGRAM of St. Martins (St. John) N.B. .. The deceased gentleman belonged to New Brunswick, where he had been for over 50 years and had visited Ireland about a month ago for the purpose of taking to America a niece of his who resided at St. John's Point, near Donegal town. ... Mary STEVENSON, niece of the deceased said deceased went out shortly after dinner and she did not see him again until she saw his dead body in the infirmary. Deceased's wife was alive. .. The jury, after a short deliberation, returned the following verdict: That the deceased, William Ingram, came to his death by being knocked down by a wagon, the wheel passing over his body, on the harbor commissioner's tramway on this date.
