Prince William (York Co.) June 15th - There occurred at Lake George, 31st ult., a sad accident, by which Edward BURKE s/o Michael BURKE came to his death in his 19th year. He had just taken dinner and gone to his room, when a few moments after his father, who was lying on the lounge, heard the report of a revolver and rushing into the room found the boy falling forward. He lifted him up and laid him upon the bed where he expired immediately. The funeral which took place the following day was largely attended. When the body had been removed, there were two or three empty cartridges lying upon the bed, making it appear that, having extracted them, the boy was in the act of removing the remaining one when it exploded with the fatal results already stated.
