On Friday morn., says 'Miramichi Advance', Alex. SMITH who lives near Lower Bartibogue Bridge, left his house at breakfast time for his barn and was expected to return as usual to his breakfast. He did not do so and his body was found suspended by a rope in the barn. Deceased was a married man about 37 years of age and a farmer and fisherman by occupation.
