Case Settlement, July 6 - Jos. BEST, Midland (Kings Co.) met with a serious accident on Monday last which may result in his death. Whilst he and Samuel BELYEA were driving at a rapid rate, he fell among the wheels of his carriage, bruising his head and otherwise injuring him. At last account on Wednesday he was still lying in a a comatose state and his case is pronounced by Dr. Wilson, Springfield as a very critical one.
