Thomas GALLAGHER, an employee of Messrs John McAdam & Sons left that place last Wednesday morn. to take two men up the stream in a birch canoe. Not returning that day a party was despatched to look for him. His hat was found floating on the stream about four miles above the mill and the canoe bottom up. It is supposed that on his way down stream the canoe upset and he was drowned.. -'Courier'
