The funeral of George STYMEST took place on Saturday from residence of his brother-in-law, W.A. ROBERTSON, Esq. The religious services at the house were conducted by Rev. Henry Pope, Jr. and Rev. Howard Sprague. The latter also conducted the service at the grave. The body was interred in the Rural Cemetery. The pall bearers were Sheriff HARDING, Robert SHIVES, Luke STEWART, W.C. WATSON, Edwin FISHER, George E. EVERETT. Mr. POWERS & Son had charge of funeral arrangements. (Rural Cemetery is today known as Fernhill Cemetery, Westmorland Road, Saint John)
