Edward T. KNOWLES, resident of Saint city, died yesterday after a brief illness in his 84th year. Mr. Knowles was a native of Nova Scotia, but at an early age he removed to this city and for a number of years in company with R.W. Thorne conducted business on the South wharf. He was three times married and leaves a widow and one daughter. - 'Sun', Feb. 24th.
