Charles O'BRIEN, age 18, who is employed by James S. MAY and resides with his parentson Douglas Road, Portland (St. John) went to Marble Cove early last eve. with some companions to bathe. Lately the cove has been deepened by dredging and it was at this point that O'Brien went in. He had not been long in before he called out for help, stating that he had been attacked by cramps. One of the lads on shore ran for assistance and before he could return O'Brien was nowhere to be seen. The body was discovered under some logs a short distance from where he had gone down. The remains were removed to his father's residence on Douglas Road where an inquest will be held by Coroner Earle this morn.
