On Monday last, a sober industrious man named John THOMAS belonging to Bocabec came to Town in his boat with a load of shingles for Thomas SIME. He expressed himself as being unwell, but set out with his son, a young boy, on his return. Next day as Marshall ANDREWS, Esq. of Chamcook Island (Charlotte Co.) was on his way to attend the Grand Jury, he was accosted by the lad, who informed him that his father was lying in his boat on the beach and unable to move. Mr. ANDREWS had him immediately conveyed to his house where every attention was paid to him, but all their efforts proved unavailing as the poor man expired in the afternoon.
