Andrew GUNTER, one of the oldest residents of Lower Queensbury (York Co.) passed away yesterday. Mr. Gunter was the youngest s/o late Andrew Gunter of Long Island, New York, a lieutenant in the naval service and one of the loyalists who settled at Waterborough, Queens Co., where deceased was born. Mr. Gunter removed to Lower Queensbury about 42 years ago where he has since resided. He was a deacon of the Free Baptist Church at Queensbury for many years. Deceased leaves a widow, two sons and five daughters viz. John B. GUNTER of this city and Charles GUNTER of Lower Queensbury, Mrs. SLEEP, Mrs. Harvey CHASE and Mrs. Nelson COY of Upper Gagetown and two unmarried. Deceased was a brother of the late Rev. GUNTER of this city. The funeral will take place at Lower Queensbury Saturday morn.
