d. 25th ult, George KEITH s/o late Aaron KEITH of Havelock (Kings Co.) 23rd year. Deceased was engaged stream driving in Nova Scotia. He with three other men were attempting to open a sluice in a dam built for driving purposes, when the dam suddenly gave way, hurling them a distance of some 24 feet on the rocks below and immediately carrying them downstream with the rush of water from above. Only one of the men escaped with his life and that with great difficulty. Deceased followed his father to the grave only a few weeks ago. His body will be brought home and buried beside that of his father on Sunday 27th ult.
