RS141A1c INTRODUCTION: Late Registration of Births: County Series, 1869-1901*
INTRODUCTION
The vast majority of the births registered with
Vital Statistics (see RS141A5) are organized by year and then
alphabetically. For this reason, no master index has yet been created for
them. Most of the Late Registrations are found in RS141A1b. However,
a volume of births was created in 1900-1901 to record births which which
occurred as far back at 1869.
There are 2294 births which now have the archival
designation RS141A1c and are on microfilms F18795 & F18796. They are
arranged by county, then chronologically, then alphabetically. This index
gives the gender of the child, the date of birth, name of father, name of
mother, place of birth, county of birth, archival file code, and the microfilm
number where the registration may be viewed.
