Located 2.26 km NW of Curryville and 2.26 km SE of Albert Mines: Hillsborough Parish and Hopewell Parish, Albert County: first called Calkins Creek for James Calkins: renamed Demoiselle Creek: in 1866 Demoiselle Creek was a farming settlement with about 30 resident families including 8 Woodworth families: in 1871 it had a population of 150: in 1898 Demoiselle Creek was a flag station on the Salisbury and Hillsborough Railway with 1 post office, 2 sawmills and a population of 100: PO Cap de Moselle Creek 1874-1950 and 1954-1959.
