Located 3.71 km S of Youngs Cove Road: Johnston Parish, Queens County: probably named for chief city in Mesopotamia (now Iraq): also a Canadian Pacific Railway station (called Bagdad Station): in 1866 Bagdad was a farming community with about 5 resident families: included the community of Bellenden: PO Bellenden 1877-1913.
