Located 6.77 km NW of Petitcodiac: Salisbury Parish, Westmorland County: originally named Birch Hill: renamed for Thomas Fawcett (1775-1855), an English immigrant who settled in Prince Edward Island in 1817, then moved to Sackville in 1822, and finally to Birch Hill in 1832: PO 1878-1929: in 1898 Fawcett Hill was a railway siding on the Elgin, Petitcodiac and Havelock Railway and a farming settlement with 1 post office and a population of 50.
