Located on W side of Grand Lake, 3.93 km SSW of Newcastle Creek: Canning Parish, Queens County: named for Gilbert Flower, a Loyalist settler in the area: PO 1855-1917: in 1866 Flowers Cove was a farming community with about 9 families, including 6 Flower families: in 1898 Flowers Cove had 1 post office, 1 church and a population of 75.
