Located 6.13 km NNE of Point de Bute: Westmorland Parish, Westmorland County: settled in 1770 and named for an early French family named Jolicoeur: PO 1838-1929: in 1866 Jolicure was a farming settlement with approximately 40 families, including 8 Brownell families: in 1871 it had a population of 250: in 1898 Jolicure had 1 store, 2 churches and a population of 200.
