Located on E side of the St. John River across from Evandale, 3.19 km SE of Beulah: Kars Parish, Kings County: PO 1866-1896: in 1866 Kars was a farming settlement with approximately 75 resident families: in 1871 Kars had a population of 150: in 1898 Kars had 1 post office, 1 store and a population of 400.
