Located on the Shepody River, 6.78 km NE of Germantown: Harvey Parish, Albert County: PO 1861-1949: in 1866 Beaver Brook was a farming settlement with about 15 resident families: in 1871 it had a population of 100: in 1898 Beaver Brook had 1 post office, 2 stores, 1 sawmill, 1 shingle mill, 1 woollen mill and a population of 165: included German Brook.
