Located on the Restigouche River, 4.97 km W of Dawsonville, on the road to Flatlands: Eldon Parish, Restigouche County: Thomas Mann settled here in 1783: also called Mount Edward for Edward Mann, who settled in this area: in 1866 Mount Edward was a farming community with approximately 8 families: PO Manns Mountain 1914-1932.
