Located 5.16 km E of Kingsclear and 5 km W of Hanwell: Kingsclear Parish, York County: Joseph Mazerolle settled here in 1770: in 1866 "Muzerall (Mazerolle) Settlement" was a farming community with approximately 6 families, including the families of David Muzerall, John Muzerall, Lewis Muzerall and Peter Muzerall: PO Mazerall 1910-1916 with Henry J. Mazerall as postmaster: in 1904 Mazerolle Settlement had a population of 100: included King Settlement.
