Located 6.77 km NE of Upper Sackville: Sackville Parish, Westmorland County: PO Midgic 1861-1892: in 1866 Midgic was a farming and lumbering community with approximately 7 families: in 1871 it had a population of 200: included PO Midgic Station 1890-1969: in 1898 Midgic Station was a station on the New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island Railway and a settlement with 1 post office, 1 store, 3 sawmills, 1 church and a population of 500: included Brooklyn Road: PO 1899-1915: in 1904 Brooklyn Road was a farming and lumbering settlement with 1 post office, 1 sawmill and a population of 150.
