Located on the New Brunswick/Nova Scotia border, 2.26 km NE of Aulac, on the road to Point de Bute: Westmorland Parish, Westmorland County: Robert Whatley settled in the area in 1794: PO 1886-1915: in 1866 Mount Whatley was a farming settlement with approximately 8 resident families: in 1871 it had a population of 125: in 1898 Mount Whatley had 1 post office, 1 store, 1 church and a population of 150.
