Located on East Branch Turtle Creek, 6.5 km SW of Dawson Settlement: Hillsborough Parish, Albert County: PO 1905-1915 with Judson Steeves as the first postmaster: the Steeves families in the area are descended from Heinrich Stief (1730-1779), who came to Pennsylvania from Germany in 1760, and to Hillsborough, New Brunswick in 1764.
