Located on Grand Lake, 3.71 km N of Princess Park, on the road to Newcastle Creek: Canning Parish, Queens County: PO 1861-1917 with Jacob Syphers as postmaster: in 1866 Syphers Cove was a farming community with about 20 resident families: in 1871 Syphers Cove had a population of 100: in 1898 Syphers Cove had a population of 50.
