Located on E side of the Memramcook River, 3.93 km NNW of Middleton, on the road to College Bridge: Dorchester Parish, Westmorland County: included the settlement of Rockland Station: PO Rockland Station 1879-1897: PO Upper Dorchester 1897-1947: in 1898 Upper Dorchester was a station on the Intercolonial Railway and a farming settlement with 1 post office, 1 church and a population of 300.
