Located on the Cumberland Basin, 14.23 km E of Shepody, on the coast road to Wood Point: Sackville Parish, Westmorland County: included the settlement of North Joggins: PO North Joggins 1853-1875: also included the settlement of Hard Ledge: PO Hard Ledge 1873-1876: PO Upper Rockport 1875-1967: in 1898 Upper Rockport was a farming community with 1 post office, 1 sawmill and a population of about 100: Upper Rockport became part of Rockport.
