Join the Associates of the Provincial Archives of New Brunswick
The Provincial Archives acquires and preserves a wide range of records that have a
bearing on the history of New Brunswick. They include photographs, maps, architectural
drawings, films, videos, audio tapes, oral history recordings, letters, diaries, and
government reports. They comprise a rich resource that is vital to an understanding
of the forces and experiences that have shaped this province and to the making of
informed decisions in the present. The Archives' task is daunting and can be
accomplished only with the assistance of individuals who are concerned about the survival
of the records that assist historical inquiry.
Help preserve New Brunswick’s heritage!
New Brunswick’s records are essential for information, the protection of rights,
education, and entertainment. They are used by academics in all branches of study,
by family historians, statisticians, environmentalists, government and legal researchers,
authors and the media. The Associates help acquire and preserve significant records
and play an important role in increasing public awareness of the Archives and in promoting
the availability of New Brunswick’s documentary heritage.
The Provincial Archives appreciates its Associates

the acquisition of the Josh Beutel Collection of political cartoon ink drawings, support for summer
student programs, and publication of genealogical and historical works.
