Résumé Parish of Hopewell, Westmorland County. Will dated 15 April 1831, proved 21 April 1832. Two eldest sons Isaac and John each 5 shillings. Third son James one third of the salt marsh outside of the running dyke, after five acres are taken out for my daughter Sarah, one third of the livestock and farming utensils and one-sixth of the household furniture, he to be at one third the expense of maintaining his father and mother during their natural lives. Fourth son George my upland on the south side of the highway, my old dyke between Fox Island and the Upland, one third of the salt marsh, one third of the livestock and farming utensils and one-sixth of the household furniture, he to be at one third of the expense of maintaining his father and mother. Son George Fox Island and George's Island (so called), reserving a road for my son James from the highway to Mary's Island. Fifth son Joseph Nelson my upland on the north side of the highway, reserving two acres for my daughter Sarah, my dykeland on the new Point Dyke between Levi ROBINSON and Samuel WEST, one third of the salt marsh outside the Running Dyke, one third of the livestock and farming utensils and one-sixth of the household furniture, he to be at one third of the expense of maintaining his father and mother. Daughter Ann £100, including what she has already received since her marriage, to be paid by my sons George and Nelson. William WOOD 5 shillings. Daughter Sarah two acres of upland, five acres of dyke marsh on the new Point Dyke and five acres of salt marsh outside the Running Dyke. Daughter Elizabeth £100, to be paid by my sons George and Nelson, and necessaries equivalent to her setled and married sisters. Wife Amy one third of all my real estate, one half of the household furniture and one horse and chaise. James DERRY and my son George DERRY executors. Witnesses: Aaron STEVENS, Winthrop ROBINSON, Joseph ROBINSON. CODICIL dated 15 April 1831 bequeaths to third son James the three Islands so called, and a lot of marsh. Fourth son George a privilege on Three Islands to procure wood, poles and timber. Third daughter Sarah privilege of a road through George's land. Witnesses: John W. MOORE, Isaac DERRY, Aaron STEVENS.
